1. Expert in Electric Powertrain system and functions for xEV vehicles.
2. Expert in System architecture, requirements and integration of Electric Powertrain functions
3. Expert in VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) functional requirements, function architecture and software.

Required Education & Experience / 教育背景及工作经验

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical or Vehicle Engineering.
• Work experience (at least 8 years) in automotive industry.
• Strong Knowledge of xEV vehicle architectures (HEV, PHEV, BEV) is required.
• Experience (at least 5 years) in similar position is required.
• Experience in functional integration for Powertrain system is required.
• Familiar with international and national standards for electric vehicles, incl. homologation.
• Experience with system architecture and integration of electric powertrain functions incl. drivability, drive quality, AC & DC charging, energy management, thermal management, electrical safety, etc.
• Proficiency using software tools like CANOE, INCA/CANape is required.
• Programming skills in C/C++, CAPL, ASCET, SIMULINK is a plus.
• Experience using analog measurement equipment (e.g. IPETRONIK, KLARIC, NI) is preferred.
• Able to manage tasks independently & ability to be self-starter.            
• Good communication and presentations skills in English and Chinese.
• Self-motivation, open mind and team work with people from different cultures.

• System expert in electric powertrain domain for xEV vehicles.
• As expert engineer you will act as technical lead for other system engineers.
• With the request of Chief Engineer or Group Leader E-Powertrain support the growth of internal technical capabilities in electric powertrain group.
• Support the creation of internal technical documentation for existing and future projects.
• Work with OEM and suppliers to analyze and define electric powertrain functional requirements, functional allocation and functional implementation plan and milestones.
• Interface with OEM and Component suppliers to align system architecture and software requirements.
• Direct experience in ECU measurements (INCA/CANape) for electric powertrain components such as VCU, BMS and Inverter on HIL, system and vehicle.
• Support with the identification and creation of powertrain system test cases.
• Direct experience in troubleshooting for electric powertrain functions.
• Support vehicle testing team & prototype build.
• Create regular system integration reports, failure reports for customer and management level.
• Prepare proposals with suppliers/customer together to close open issues.
• Ensure proactive interface with customer and counterparts in EDAG Germany.

Ensure project deliverables on time with high technical quality.
