职位描述

Intro: An account manager is the heart and soul of Genimex. It is his/her responsibility to ensure the company's future by effectively managing accounts, winning new accounts, and correctly managing new developments. He/she leads the team to effectively manage sales, project management, strategic purchasing, and operative buying activities. 

 Responsibilities

- Manages the activities of merchandisers to create value for the company 

- Responsible for supervising all activities (business development and project execution)

- Ensures merchandisers secure business through competitive quotations and manages new development activities effectively 

- Develop strong personal relationship with key client

- Enforces correct business practices and adherence to procedures within team 

- Ensures Genimex Customer Promise of Quality and Delivery are Kept

- Develops Team Members, Providing Training, Career Planning, and Progression 

- Ability to take initiative, ownership and accountability for the business 

- Responsible for P&L of team 

- Responsible for maintaining healthy margins and cash flow for business within the team

- Actively pursues business development activities for the company 

 Work Experience Requirements

- At least 8 years working experience in merchandising at trading company or buying office for sourcing assorted consumer products, 2 years for team management.  

- Familiar with Western markets  

- Expertise in project management. Can train others.

- Expertise in project and/or strategic purchasing. Can train others. 

- Experience in buying complete products, OEM and development 

 Skill Requirements 

- Must have strong ability to read, write, and speak in English  

- Needs to have good negotiation ability 

- Self-motivated team player & willing to work under pressure  

- Aggressive / responsible 

- Good management Skills 

 Education Requirement 

- University degree, preferably in Marketing and/or business administration, economics, engineering or other relevant discipline
