Responsibilities and Duties     

 

The Process Engineering in this role will be part of the global team of highly experienced engineers in charge of developing and improving new products and manufacturing processes required for Wind Turbines.

    

    

We are looking for 4 or more years experienced industrial or production engineers for our team in Technology & Standards Process Engineering team responsible for manufacturing process. We expect that you also have +2 years of experience in developing and implementing manufacturing process description with process flow.

    

    

The department is Global function with headquarter in Denmark and one office in China. Our customers are internal and external as we manage and lead the development of wind turbines manufacturing set up for our licensing partners and suppliers.

    

    

This role requires a deep knowledge of product design and manufacturing processes. The Senior candidate in this role is required to:

    

• Be an expert in developing, evaluating and improve new product design, research and test new material from concept to realization, developing requirements and create process maps with description.
• Have effective communication skills with strong ownership of English language and a global mind-set as this role is part of the global function; traveling abroad and in country is mandatory up to periods of 6 months
• Analyse data and creating presentation with status reports is mandatory

                

    

Primary responsibilities for this role are:

    

Safety - proactively secure safety within working environment.

    

Finance - secure financial control on budget and cost evaluation for the products and solutions developed and implemented.

    

Expertise –

• Proven record for planning and executing work-packages
• Development of new products, material, equipment and processes with creation of required training material.
• Calculate and evaluate measures for developing new products, equipment, and test new material.
• Planning and tracking all relevant activities to secure deliveries of solutions on time and at the planed quality level and costs.
• In cooperation with department management coordinates all manufacturing process activities from defining the requirements, develop manufacturing and assembly processes and running production start-ups of new plants and production technologies.
• Develop and update work instructions and training material.
• Train and verify that operators are working according to the work instructions
• Secure that proper tools and equipment are utilized for the requirements of the process
• Coordinate process optimizations and implement process design updates in running production.
• Conduct P-FMEA, production layout and ramp up calculation                            
• Ensure documenting Best Practice and lead sharing across plants and product portfolio
• Define test methods for process related qualification of materials                 

Qualifications

1. BA/MA degree (mechanical engineering) with 4 or more years of experience in industrial or process engineering
2. Experience working in project teams
3. Experience in planning
4. Experience in organizing workshops and training individuals and teams
5. Experienced user of 3D cad systems
6. Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills in English and Chinese
7. Good communication skills, ability to work collaborate with internal or external partners
8. Experienced user of Office
9. Quick learner, willing to work hard and flexibly
