Job Summary

Production Engineering and Facility Manager is to lead the Production Engineering and Facility Department, is responsible for setting-up, optimize, improve production processes and facilities to achieve set targets related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost with lean methodology by developing and applying PE tools such as VSM analysis principle and skill, Waste Elimination, Best Ergonomics, Sequence Optimization, PE 5W2H, digital systems in the shop floor；

Responsibilities:

1. Leading role for developing and implementing Smart Factory and Digital Manufacturing systems and processes
2. Plan, design, update the fixtures and tooling for production process.
3. Develop and maintain manufacturing methods and create process routings
4. Ensure processes contribute to a safe work environment
5. Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization
6. Identify and reduce product quality issues caused by process variation
7. Utilize lean-manufacturing principles and participate in action workouts to improve process capability, reduce overall costs and increase capacity
8. Responsible for making and compiling production process documentation WI&SOP related as well as their maintenance and updating and verification.
9. Responsible for NPI , process finalization and development as well as process planning and implementation for massive production .
10. initiate and leader the Continues Improvement Projects in Production Engineering & Facility department, and provide strong technical support to the Continues Improvement Projects across the organization.
11. Andon system maintenance and utilize Andon report for line balancing and waste elimination.
12. In charge of facility and production equipment maintenance and reaction repair to ensure the minimized the interruption to production.
13. Manage and optimize the Preventive and Planned Maintenance program to minimize maintenance, repair and replacement costs together with minimizing the risk of plant failure.
14. Manage and implement new facility construction and upgrade projects.
15. Establish objectives, schedules and priorities in Manufacturing Engineering activities, and review staff based on their accomplishments toward these directions
16. Manage and coordinate with sub-contract for IT infrastructure and devices maintenance and upgrade.
17. Manage and coordinate with sub-contract for IT service delivery.
18. Lead and coordinate the 5S activity in whole organization
19. Implement energy management program
20. Ensure the setup of the facility to be compliant with the local regulations on environment/safety/administration.
21. Implement and comply with all internal management systems
22. Actively encourage an environment that supports teamwork, co-operation & performance excellence
23. Lead by example and groom the team in achieving and maximize Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost targets
24. Act as leader and a coach for the team ensuring high staff morale, trust and work ethics.
25. Complete other tasks assigned by Managing Director

 Experience

• 10+ years work experience in production engineering or industrial engineering position.
• 5+ years’ experience of leadership position at related areas.
• Rich Experience on introduction/Implementation of Smart/Digital Factory, Digital Manufacturing, MES system

Education 教育

• Bachelor degree or higher in engineering;
• Major in mechanical or electrical, automobile prefers.

Skills 技能

• Strong planning, organize, coordination, approval and implementation capacity;
• Skilled in assembly process palnning as well as design fixtures and tools
• Experienced in management of production analyze, quality control, equipment maintain;
• Experienced in cost control, budget making, production overall control, personnel management
• Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
• Experience in managing new product introduction, technology and product transfer projects across countries
• Familiar with the knowledge of ergonomics.
• Master in lean production and tools/methodology.
• Good at MS office software application
• SkIlled in AutoCAD etc drawing software
