• Accountable for EMI, absorber, thermal material and other product or solution promotion, and deep hands-on technical support in responsible market & customer.

• Utilize all product offerings, providing insightful and detailed design solutions.

• Drive prototype, tool build, and initial production build to meet customer timelines.

• Be responsible for customer application issue supporting, failure mode analysis and solve together with coordinating internal resources;

• Simultaneously set priorities/direction for multiple programs in development.

• Early and deeply engage with customer to understand customer requirements / market technical trend with necessary analysis, clearly and efficiently deliver to internal engineering and marketing team for new product definition and overall competence improvement

• Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.

• Supported exhibition & other marketing promotion actions.

• Keep work skills current to insure Laird competitiveness in a dynamic global business environment. May require extensive travel to customer sites required providing design specific solutions.

 

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge or experience in any of Precision Metal, EMI products, Thermal Interface Material or MCP products will be necessary.

• High motivation and competitive drive to succeed in challenging and rapidly changing environment;

• Excellent problem resolving capabilities & time management skills.

• A quicker learner with an analytic mind, be self-motivated and able to work toward defined objectives independently;

• Works well in a Team environment and guides the team as the “expert” in a particular field.

• Skillfully in 3D modeling, thermal analysis, EMI simulation/testing, Finite element analysis process will be plus.

• Excellent communication & demonstration skills, both oral and written in English & Mandarin, internal and external.

 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer materials & Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant.

• Experience/knowledge in related product lines manufacturing processes is preferred.

• Sound experience in telecom, datacom, automotive, consumer or medical related applications is preferred.

• 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position.

• 3+ years design experience will be plus.
