Responsibilities

· Calibrate FIE system, diesel engines and vehicles to meet emissions, drive-ability, and performance goals;

· Perform developmental tests on engines and vehicles to gather data for analysis;

· Execute the calibration problem solving and focus on calibration improvement continuously.

· Write technical reports and presentations to communicate data, test results, and project status for internal and external purposes;

· Support Calibration Review and maintain the Calibration Database

Some amount of traveling may be required – may require extended traveling during seasonal development test trips.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with courses on internal combustion engines; Master degree is preferred.

· Has experience on common rail calibration, or similar experience.

· 2~4 years test or research experience on automotive engines (gasoline or diesel)  is highly preferred

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to use computer based tools such as Excel, MATLAB, etc. to solve engineering problems;

· Ability to read, write and speak in English fluently.

· Patient, willing to learn, able to grasp new concepts, flexible, team player, able to work under pressure especially in customer site.
