职位描述

1) To lead the design of client solutions and oversee the delivery of client projects to high standards of excellence, while maximising revenue and profit for the company, and ensuring client retention and satisfaction.

2) Within existing accounts, to up-sell current projects, cross-sell BI’s services and seek out new opportunities, in order to maximise revenue and GP per client.

3) To lead, motivate and manage an account team to ensure operational excellence, to maximise profit from all client accounts, and to manage, coach and mentor each direct line report to ensure associate retention and associate satisfaction.

4) Where required to prospect directly for new business and support Sales in the Design, Definition and Delivery of new business to achieve an overall personal Gross Profit (‘GP’) target.

Principal Responsibilities:

1) To own responsibility for delivering an agreed personal GP target.

2) To lead the design of all projects (Events and PI) to create compelling solutions that meet client need and maximise profit for the business.

3) To lead the client service delivery team, including any direct reports and indirect support departments, inspiring them to deliver service excellence, motivating and developing them, and managing their activities to ensure commercial success.

4) To actively identify, qualify and close new business opportunities within existing accounts and up-sell existing projects; and to have in place a proactive account development plan for each client, working closely and seamlessly with the CSD (New Business Development).

5) To ensure the financial and administrative management of all client projects complies with BI systems and procedures. This includes but is not limited to file management, invoicing, supplier management and contracts, cash-flow management, Statement of Work and client contracts.

6) To be responsible for your own personal development and keeping up with best practice within BI and the motivation/events industry.

7) To demonstrate leadership and management qualities in keeping with MINT/BI values and to implement Performance Management guidelines to develop direct reports and deliver results.

8) Other duties assigned by the company as business requirement.

Resources Accountable For:

· People

Direct line management responsibility for Client Services Supervisors, and through them, Client Services Executives. Lateral project management responsibility for support departments within BI where appropriate in the delivery of client projects.

Close working relationship required with Sales in maximising opportunity from existing clients, and helping close business from new ones.

· Budget

Personal ownership of GP target to achieve the Company target

Full responsibility for managing client project budgets: creating the budget; ensuring it is well managed; monitoring cost and time expenditure; ensuring work is invoiced on time; cash-flow management; identifying uplift opportunities.

Responsible for negotiating and agreeing win-win commercial terms of business (in conjunction with the CSD/General Manager) that deliver expected levels of profit margin.

Central point of contact for all clients with 60%+ of time directly client-facing.

· Internal Customers

Productive, inspiring and positive working relationships required with all associates, particularly in leading the development of compelling client solutions and the delivery of excellence to clients.

Person Specification

Essential Skills & Experience (key competencies)

Experience

· 4 to 6 years client service experience in an agency environment (particularly Events or Performance Improvement), or significant client-side experience in a similar role

· Significant people management experience, including responsibility for recruitment, performance management and team leadership

· Previous ownership of financial targets or budgets, with evidence of cost management or profit maximisation

· Evidence of experience in developing compelling solutions for client to win business and the ability to consistently achieve GP targets either through direct selling or working with a sales team

Skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships at all levels and with all types of people

· Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, presentational – with clarity of expression and engaging style. Fluency in both English and Mandarin essential.

· Subject matter expertise

· Strong people management skill, demonstrably good at leading, motivating and managing a team

· Commercial outlook

· Passion for quality

· Good knowledge of using financial management systems for project financial management
