- Development of new articles and technical improvements of existing articles

- Defining new technical standards in close cooperation with the headquarter

- Design and specification of components / product taking into account local and international standards such as CCC, ECE regulations etc.

- Development of test methodes and validation standards and setups (e.g. for lifetime, claim analysis)

- Final evaluation / decision of initial sample inspections

- Analysis of product claims as well as technical evaluation (technically supporting quality management)

- Transfer knowhow to other products through analysis and further development

- Planning and execution of car installation tests, test runs and measuring methods

- Patent research in cooperation with the legal department

- Identify and evaluate technical market trends

- Development support of suppliers / production facilities

- Support at trade fairs / during customer visits

- Participation / performing specialist training courses (internally / externally)

- Project management of new product developments and improvements

- ERP-system based documentation

Qualifications:

- 2-4 years experience as technician (preferably car related, mechanic)

- 2D/3D CAD knowledge

- MS Office

- Good English
