Alpha是一家总部位于英国剑桥的专业本地化服务公司，在全球各地设有14个分支机构，剑译信息技术（上海）有限公司为其子公司之一。随着业务发展，我司需在上海设立供应商协调员（vendor coordinator），主要任务是在总部vendor manager指导下进行相关翻译服务供应商/自由职业者的寻找、筛选、谈判、引入等。你在该岗位上将接触到全球各地，各行各业的精英人士，锻炼你的沟通、谈判、管理能力，以及英语表达能力。如该职能发展良好，长期定位是将vendor manager职能转移到上海。因此，本职位虽然初期是一个初级岗位，但是具有很大的发展前景。如果你年轻、热情、适应力强，又恰好擅长英文、对跨国文化感兴趣，就投简历吧！

详细职位描述如下：

MISSION

  

Alpha's vendor coordinator in Asia & Africa will interface with the Vendor Management function located in Alpha's HQ in the UK and help to identify, qualify, engage and monitor external suppliers worldwide, but focusing primarily on the Asian and African markets, in order to build a reliable pool of external resources that will ensure quality of service, timeliness and competitive rates for Alpha's ever expanding projects.

  

TASKS

  

• Identify new suppliers using available channels and explore untested channels

• Identify vendor capabilities (language pairs, subject matter expertise, references)

• Work with Alpha's Vendor Management and the project managers to identify needs and find appropriate resources

• Engage in constructive relationships with new and existing vendors with a view to maintain a long term collaboration relationship

• Negotiate framework agreements including rates, deliverables, scalability

• Anticipate future demands by paving the road for access to talents for emerging needs

• Assess new suppliers to understand history, capabilities and environment

• Organize and conduct meetings with established vendors (typically once or twice a year) to address issues and requirements

• Monitor payment cycles

• Manage vendor complaints

                    

SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES

  

• Good listening skills

• Experience in negotiating

• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese

• Understanding of multicultural environment

• Ability to work autonomously with little or no supervision

• Ability to produce tangible results

• Previous experience in a localization/translation environment preferred
