Purpose of the position:

    

The position has two objectives. The first one is to support the factory with packaging sourcing, this includes asking for quotations, communicate with relevant marketing department regarding package spec. having samples made and finally approve the package and release for mass production. The second objective is to support the ADC team in Guangzhou with packaging engineering for finished goods.

    

    

这个职位有两个目标。一是协助工厂进行包装采购，包括询价，与相关市场部门沟通包装规格，制作样品，最终确认包装并放行批量生产。第二个目标是支持在广州的ADC团队的成品包装工程。

    

    

    

Job Description:

    

• Develop environmentally friendly packaging solutions.
• Improve current packaging design to make them more efficient with materials and space.
• Visit current vendors and potential new packaging vendors together with Purchase/QC.
• Create mockups of packaging designs.
• Quote and chose supplier based on the packaging requirements.
• Sample process and approval of packaging.
• Via e-mail Communicating with marketing/package development engineer in US/EU.
• Testing packaging according to specification, drop testing, vibration testing, bar code quality etc. Arrange for 3rd party testing when necessary.
• Making pallet specifications.
• Make up the packaging instruction documents.
• Designing carton labels.
• Develop packaging.

• 与采购/QC一起拜访现有的供应商和潜在的新包装供应商。
• 创建包装设计的模型。
• 根据包装要求报价并选择供应商。

• 通过电子邮件与美国/欧盟市场/包装开发工程师沟通。
• 根据规格测试包装，跌落测试，振动测试，条码质量等。必要时安排第三方测试。
• 制造托盘规格。
• 制作包装说明文件。
• 设计纸箱标签。

Requirements:

         

·       College degree or above, with relevant major.

    

·       Previous experience from packaging design, preferably for retail products, minimum 2-3 years of experience.

    

·       Knowledge about ISTA testing standards.

    

·       Able to use Microsoft Office products.

    

·       Good knowledge about different materials (cardboard qualities etc.)

    

·       Knowledge in the use of Adobe illustrator, Autocad, Cape pack and other package development software is a plus.

    

·       Be able to communicate in English over email and understand English packaging related documents.

    

·       大专及以上学历，相关专业。

    

·       有包装设计经验，零售产品设计经验优先，至少2-3年经验。

    

·       了解ISTA测试标准。

    

·       会使用Microsoft Office产品。

    

·       熟悉不同的材料(纸板的质量等)

    

·       会使用Adobe illustrator, Autocad, Cape pack等软件包开发软件者优先。

    

·       能用英语进行电子邮件交流，了解英文包装相关文件。
