Job Description

The Hardware Development Engineer will be based in Shanghai. This position will work on the RFQ/RFI review and hardware design/validation activities for China cloud and enterprise server/storage markets.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Review RFQ/RFI from the customers and work with cross function teams for detail solution implementation.
• Design the schematic and guide the layout to meet the product requirements.
• Work with sourcing team for component qualification and selection, comparison to meet project requirement.
• Responsible for hardware design, validation, evaluation for board in server/storage system product.
• Work with factory to iron out manufacturing issues related to design.
• Work with related function teams to solve validation issues from internal and external.
• May join some critical RMA analysis and debug.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

• EE-related bachelor and above, 7+ years’ work experience.
• Fluent in English writing and speaking
• Experience in server/storage board design more than 5 years
• Good command at OrCAD/ConceptHDL/AllegroViewer and scope operations
• Understanding about high-speed signaling theories and design guideline
• Understanding about PCBA- and PCB-related manufacturing issues.
• Good communication skill amount different function teams and customer
