Responsibility:

1. Responsible for the powder product development

2. Work closely with Lab technical Manager to develop new products and modify existing formulations platform to meet customer requirements.

3. Work with the production and quality departments to ensure that all products are designed for efficient manufacture and meet quality requirements.

4. Work with the sales and technical services department in the laboratory and the field to solve product performance problems to achieve business goals, including sales and profitability growth and meeting customer’s expectations.

5. Implementing processes to continually reduce product costs, manufacturing cycle times, and improve the overall performance of PPG coating products.

6. Work closely with global and Asia Pacific laboratories to share coating information between all locations.

7. Work with purchaser to Identify new raw materials and technologies for raw material replacement to cost saving, single source and urgent raw material shortage.

8. Maintain equipment and laboratory facilities consistent with safety and quality principals

Other Requirements: (Related working experience/Formal education summary)

·       A bachelor’s degree or above in chemical engineering, chemistry, or related fields.

·       A minimum of 3 year experiences in coatings (better in powder coating), and familiarity with paint related raw materials, paint and extruding technologies are required.

·       Competent in written and spoken English (CET level 4 minimum) and Mandarin

·       Good presentation skills.

·       Team leading experience (preferred)
