Responsible for Product Development: chassis layout and mechanical design, development, tests, updating and enhancement of existing and new products of II-VI network solutions portfolio.

工作职责：

1) New Product Development

A) Designs mechanical system level layout and chassis,  module parts for optical telecommunication industry

B) Develops new or improves existing products

C) Performs engineering analysis required to verify design performance and reliability

D) Designs and analyzes mechanical RFQ,detailed design,MDVT,FMEA, initial BOM building, design review material, and packaging.

E) Performs the project within budget & schedule, be able to work independently with little supervision

2) Manufacturing Operations Support

A) Provides technical support for manufacturing personnel

B) Provides design information to WI documentation and files ECN/ECR documentation

C) Processes troubleshooting and yield improvement

3) Continuous Improvement

A) Designs for lower cost and higher performance

B) Designs for manufacturing and process

任职要求：

? 5+ years of experience in mechanical chassis layout and design engineering, experience in communication product/server product/telecommunication base station product and other related industrial electronic product

? Be familiar with mechanical design of standard or nonstandard pluggable rack/cabinet.

? Be familiar with the sheet metal and plastic material and its surface treatment. Thermal simulation capability is a plus

? Familiar with the sheet metal and machined part design, experiences with plastic such as Ultem, Vectra; Various manufacturing approaches such as molding, stamping and extrusion
