OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The position will be responsible to lead the freight forwarding customer service team to focus on all aspects of the logistics process to attain excellent customer service.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot and resolve non-routine or complex issues / escalations.
• Supports and engages team members to deliver team requirements by working together
• communicating with customers via telephone and email weekly or monthly
• Prepare daily KPI report and monitor backlog of team members
• To prepare monthly headcount report
• Supervise and develop team through learning & development, coaching, feedback and reviews.
• Ensure all processes are in line with Standard Operating Procedure
• To train new staff of daily operation requirements
• To manage and schedule workforce
• Performs other position related duties as specified by management
• To support on new tasks on boarding

SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB

Technical

• Proficiency in English
• Familiarity with various applications including Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with Cargo wise/CW1 as well as Freight Forwarding operations
• Familiarity with export function in China

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/post graduate diploma/professional degree in any field
• Previous 2-3 years International logistics experience a benefit
• Preferable of 2-3 years export operation experience in China or overseas
