i)Prepare statutory reports, including all disclosure notes, liaison with external auditors and ensuring submission within statutory timelines
ii)Prepare annual tax returns within stipulated timelines
iii) Review monthly closing and reporting process for fixed asset, treasury and tax
iv) Review accounts reconciliation with the analysis of balance sheet items about whether any unusual movement/longstanding items exist in each GL items (custodian of trial balance) and investigate it is valid
v)Timely and accurate filing of VAT and other indirect taxes
vi) Tax accounting in business plan cycles and quarterly closing
vii) Ensure compliance Sox and other internal controls
viii) Manage cash flow by arranging deposit with banks and an intercompany upon necessity
ix) Review fixed asset accounting including the capital lease accounting
x) Provide internal tax/accounting advisory services and support business operation matters.
xi) Maintain appropriate local transfer pricing documentation and operation
xii) Deal with external tax authorities and consultants

Assignment and planning of work

i) Much of the work is providing support to legal entities in China, in alignment with global accounting/tax guidelines
ii) Ability to stress the importance of deadlines and reporting requirements to peers. As such, a strength to balance conflicting priorities is important.
iii) Extra demands around the quarterly/year-end reporting and tax return deadlines as well as Japan tax reporting deadlines.
iv) Support cross functional activities which requires finance knowledge

Other working relationship

i) Develop close working relationship with FP&A team in China and finance team in Japan
ii) Maintain good relationship with key stakeholders and ensure the service level is consistent with the agreement
iii) Interaction with other business team in China, across the division, e.g. sales, marketing, c-commerce, supply chain and legal　HR payroll

i) 5+ years of accounting/tax experience in a multinational corporation and/or in an international accounting firm
ii) 5+ years of experience with CH-GAAP
iii) ERP(SAP or Oracle) experience is a plus

iv) Experience in FMCG industry is a plus
v) Ability to deliver results under pressure and uncertain circumstances
vi) Fluent in Chinese and English
vii) Analytical and attention to details
viii) Self-starter
ix) Strong ownership
x) Having experience to lead project/system implementation etc as a leader
xi) Great team communicator
xii) Proficient in MS applications and keen to learn new technologies
xiii) Highly proactive with a can-do attitude


Education
i) Bachelor degree in finance or accounting
ii) CH CPA, US CPA/CMA or MBA is a plus
