Design and develop firmware for optical amplifiers modules, subsystems and micro-optics modules.

Job Description:

1) Firmware Development

A) Design and develop firmware features with less guidance from supervisor. Do unit test for developed code to guarantee robustness. Continuous improve your design for better code structure, executing efficiency and product performance

B) Ensure firmware documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

C) Work with optic / hardware team to continuous improves firmware performance, efficiencies, and process capability.

2)Team Work and Supporting

A) Coaching junior engineers on firmware developing.

B) Customer and production line supporting

Job Requirements:

? 5+ years of experience in control systems development with FPGA and/or microcontrollers writing firmware for embedded applications. Experience on optic communication industry is preferred.

? Expert on C++ programming in embedded system, and experience on assembly programming language as well.

? Good understanding and experience in Object Oriented design

? Programming languages: C++, Assembly

? Knowledge and  experience on NIOS, ARM and GNU tool chains

? The ability to work independently with less guidance from supervisor
