Perform as technical leader for each project during development phase. Coordinate different function team to design a product to meet customer spec and requirement. Track all technical design activities to meet project goals.

Perform as technical window for both internal and external communication. Interact with NPI team to transfer design to the manufacture. Responsible for the overall design of Opto-electronic modules and subsystem. Lead the trouble shooting for any technical related failures. Support Product Line Manager to respond customer technical questions

Catch up with the industry evolution. Conduct/lead general technical investigations and provide feasibility study for new product development.

Job Description:

1) Product development

 A)   Play integrator roles to interact with other function team to design the product, provide product architecture and tradeoff between design to have best solution to meet/over the spec. have good think on a cost effective design.

B)   Follow PLC to be response for engineering review. Lead trouble shooting and close technical items.

C)   Coordinate the RFI and RFQ, be technical window in Design team, Join the technical meeting with customer and influence customer to accept our design approach in product initial phase.

D)   Work with NPI team to transfer design to manufacture. 

2) Legacy Sustaining

A)    Support and complete technical issues, RMA from manufacture of legacy products.

B)    Coordinate to perform product cost reduction.

 3) technics development

 A)    Share his or her design experience, Contribute team design skills and knowledge enhancement.

 B)    Provide innovation idea and verify it.

Special Skills；

· Knowledge of optical fiber communication in optics, HW, SW/FW, network architectures, applications and protocols preferred.

· Have excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in written and oral English.

· Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues in production.

· Good leadership, responsibility and initiative.
