职位描述

Key Purpose of the Job:

The position’s ultimate goal is to build The North Face to be the #1 Outdoor Brand in China, HK and subsequently in TW and other Asian markets. Your role is to inspire, equip and enable the next generation of “Explorers” – to build a diverse community, to spark curiosity for adventure and to ensure they understand the latest product innovations that will help them achieve their goals.

The Community Manager (CM) is a critical role that will connect consumer, community and The North Face brand.

By following brand values, the CM will leverage their experience building and engaging with passionate user communities in conversations through various channels (including social media, retail etc.), maintain a constant pulse on the community sentiment, and collect/analyze consumer feedback.

The CM will collaborate closely with our cross-functional team (e.g., brand marketing, CRM, DTC, DTP, etc.) to ensure alignment and consistency when driving community engagement, and catalyst conversion.



Key Areas of Accountability:

1. The position’s ultimate goal is to build The North Face as the Undisputable Leader in APAC Outdoor Category.

2. Create TNF community strategy to scale the growth of experiences across brand territories (Climb, Trail, Snow) in APAC region.

3. Develop and execute TNF community structure and program to fill across different brand territories, Climb, Trail, Snow, and bring possible business conversion.

4. Develop community programs and activation calendar (weekly, monthly, annually).

5. Generate contents from community programs.

6. Moderate community conversation and promote positive conversation.

7. Identify, quantify, validate, and prioritize community member’s feedback and issues, utilizing social intelligence tools as needed.

8. Anticipate future consumer needs and create excitement for upcoming/new program features and improvements.

9. Collaborate with Brand Marketing and CRM teams to build close, transparent relationships with our most engaged member and our top influencers.

10. Conduct surveys and research with communities to identify and better understand issues impacting the experience and potential enhancements to improve the program experience.

11. Leverage engagement best practices, standards, and innovations with other CMs across industry.

12. Identify and building relationship with valuable outside communities in key markets.

13. Regularly deliver on channel metrics, user feedback, issues, or risks channel and community insights and offer actionable next steps on an ongoing basis.

14. Ensure all The North Face standards, policies, and processes are observed and followed Qualifications

15. Assist Sports Marketing Head to scout and develop athlete (Climb, Trail, Snow athletes) program and build athlete x community program.

16. Manager and empowering trail running athletes in both training and race events. (i.e., athletes annual planning, product seeding (athletes kit), training program supporting, race supporting, content generation etc.).

17. With tightly with global sports marketing on athlete alignment.

18. Deliver monthly athlete report.

19. Agency management (strategy planning, programing or execution agencies).

20. Budget control.

Minimum Relevant Experience:

5+ years

Minimum Academic Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree

Major Subject:

Marketing, Communications, Public Relations

Work:

70% Community management

30% Athlete management

Required Professional Qualification:

1. Passionate about The North Face and exploration.

2. Good knowledge at outdoor and running

3. Well-connected and involved with outdoor and running communities

4. Experience in consumer-focused marketing

5. Regional knowledge or working experience (APAC)

6. Excellent communication skills, in both oral and written. Ability to objectively interpret user/community feedback and make actionable recommendations

7. Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to present new ideas effectively

8. A self-motivated, detail-oriented team player team player

9. Analytical mindset with strong problem solving skills and ability to multi-task

10. Proven experience in project management

11. Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
