Strategy:   

1. Proactively track and trend defects to develop and drive targeted continuous improvement initiatives, plans, and projects aimed at defect reduction and/or elimination. Monitor progress and measure effectiveness.
2. To be a pro-active trainer and coach at the same time

  Operations:      

1. Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Formal Problem Solving (8D), Supplier Quality and Development
2. Ability to apply statistical methods to analysis of engineering problems and ability to comprehend technical documentation
3. Prepares product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
4. Work with New Product development Teams to approve new suppliers of materials/ services used in product realization
5. Work with Sustaining Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve quality issues
6. Assure that the final products respond to the relevant specification
7. Analyze production, then develop, implement, and evaluate quality assurance process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques to track the progress of improvement efforts.
