ACCOUNTABILITY:

  

 

  

• Trouble shooting and solve electrical, instrument, DCS/PLC failure and take corrective/preventive action to avoid repeated failure to improve reliability

• Provide technical of solution corrective and preventive action for E/I equipment failure and improvement

      

•  Train and provide technical support to maintenance technician and contractor for problem solving and work order execution

  

 

  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  

 

  

• Support to Evaluate potential risk of maintenance work and take preventive action to reduce safety risk through tool like JHA/JSA.

• Trouble shooting and problem solving. Can solve complicated failure of electrical, instrument and DCS/PLC independently, such as motor, VFD, PLC, DCS, MCC, flower meter, pressure transmitter, temperature and level sensor, load cell, control valve etc

• Can implement RCA tool to find root cause and take corrective/preventive action to avoid repeated failure and improve reliability, like FTA, fish-bone, 5-Why etc.

• Train and provide technical support to maintenance technician and contractor for problem solving and work order execution

• Support E/I engineer to optimize PM and spare part system according to failure analysis and PM execution feedback data

• Provide technical solution of corrective and preventive action for E/I equipment failure and improvement

• Work together with the operation team to provide technical solution for E/I improvement to meet the production demand

• Execute critical PM/PdM, repairing and corrective work related with E/I and DCS/PLC.

• Test and commissioning of electrical, instrument and DCS/PLC, like calibration, parameter setting, loop test, interlock test etc.

• Execute critical PM/PdM and corrective/preventive work.

• Establish maintenance procedure (SOP) for electrical and instrument equipment, and train maintenance contractor.

• Keep DCS/PLC and electrical, instrument equipment running in good environment.

• Support to lean manufacturing activity:  TPM-AM, 5S, JI etc.

                          

 

  

 

  

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

  

 

  

• Education Background:

  • College Degree in instrument, electrical, automation or related majors

  • have certificate of electrician 

  • At least 6 years’ working experience, foreign venture experience is preferred.

  • 5 years’ maintenance technician experience in chemical plant.

            

 

  

• Technical Skills:

  • Familiar with electrical and instrument, like MCC, VFD, flowmeter, pressure and temperature transmitter and DCS

  • Good maintenance background, especially in instrument and electrical maintenance.

  • Good execution capacity and delivery result.

  • Familiar with electrical diagram and P&ID diagram.

            

• Have strong problem-solving skill.

   

Other Experiences Preferred:

• familiar with analysis tool like 5-why, FTA, fish-bone diagram

• Familiar with lean manufacturing, like 5S, TPM-AM, JI etc.
