Core Responsibilities:

·         Involve in internal product design review to make sure it completely complies with CM’s DFM Rule.

·         Co-work with CMs to do BOM selection and validation, co-work with reliability engineering team to qualify products and certification.

·         Take fully responsibility for Process Flow Definition and Validation, PFMEA, DOEs, Control Plans review at CM side.

·         Leads in PVT for any new product or expansion product.

·         Responsible for products mass production sustaining at CMs side.

·         Master in statistical data analysis and applying it for cable assembly process yield monitor and improvement.

·         Actively conduct FA with engineering team in development phase as well RMA in mass production phase.

·         Take fully responsibility on customized specs compliance for all shipments.

·         Assists and provide technical support to Engineering, PM, QA, sales, marketing.

Qualifications:

·         10 years working experience in connector development or DataComm industries technology field. DAC cable development experience is also a plus.

·         Be familiar with connector design and connector materials – resin and metal, also familiar with connector manufacturing process include stamping, molding, plating, assembly.

·         Knowing well of QSFP/SFP etc. industrial standard, abundant experience on QSFP/SFP etc. connector development.

·         Expertise in machining, molding, stamping, plating, automation process.

·         Abundant knowledge in material (metal/plastic) properties and industry standard.

·         Good planning, coordination, communication and independent analysis, judgment ability on any design or process issue.

·         Can frequent business travel to CM sites globally including out of China.

·         Good command of English, written and oral.

Education:

·         B.S. degree or above majored in mechanical engineering or related field required.
