Quality Control / Inspector (Stationery Products / Toys / Gifts & Premiums)

Neon Orient (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is the China based buying organization for one of Europe's largest specialist importer of stationery and promotional and toys products.  Our customer base includes many of Europe's leading industry brands, wholesalers and retailers and online.

We are currently seeking a Quality Control / Inspector ideally specializing in the stationery and/or toy & gifts & premium & Luggage industry to join our team.  The position is based in our Shanghai office.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform inline and final inspections according to buyer’s and customers’ AQL standards.
• Ability to work well with supplier in identifying quality problems during the manufacturing process and capable of assisting in proposing solutions, bearing in mind the needs of the customer and own experience with relevant products.
• Review defect sample with suppliers during inspection, report to supervisor on the inspection result and submit inspection reports in English to the QC manager, relevant merchandisers and other related persons on time.
• Supervise re-working at factory where necessary.
• Conduct factory audits.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• MUST have a minimum of 3 years quality control and inspection experience, ideally in the stationery / toys / Luggage / gifts & premium industry, preferably with a company whose main market is in Europe.
• AQL standard very well.
• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English, both oral and written.？ 
• Work well with factory and colleagues.
• Being responsible and loyal to the company.
• Very frequent traveling required, mainly in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong and Fujian provinces. And stay at factory sometime
• Able and willing to work at weekends or during public holiday if required.
• Able to work with minimal supervision, tight deadlines and thrive under a heavy, multi-project workload.  
• Bachelor's degree required or working experience
