Support PMI developing and coordinating new strategic product design in all phases of Product Development from concept inception to manufacturing in order to support our China, Asia Pacific growing market’s requirements.

Responsibilities：

1. Support with 3D modeling work of creative teams (Visual communication and industrial design team).
2. Create and develop innovative product design concepts with considerations on human ergonomics, branding, development methods, material usage and costing.
3. Facilitate improvement of existing designs in aesthetics and usability to cater to new and expanding markets.
4. Create concept sketches, 3-D renderings, 2-D CAD production drawings and other graphic materials as required per creative development needs.
5. Coordinate vendor production of samples and graphic materials.
6. Constantly collect trend information (within Asia) and new color ideas through market walk and web search, and share seasonal knowledge within team.
7. Work to a brief agreed with the Product Manager, Creative Director or Design Manager.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/ Product Design or equivalent related experience.
2. 5+years related working experience. Experience in category of drinkware with in-depth knowledge of stainless steel, plastic, glass and ceramics is a plus.
3. Skillful use of 3D design software: Solidworks, Keyshot (Rhino is a plus).
4. Skillful use of 2D design software: Photoshop, Illustrator.
5. Strong hand drawing design skills, professional industrial design related skills.
6. Understanding of global CMF and design trends, particularly in Asia with its culture uniqueness.
7. Fluent oral English and writing ability is preferred.
8. Experience of working with OEM and ODM suppliers or international brands is a plus.
9. Experience of working with brand company and ability of organizing consumer insight, market research is a plus.
10. Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing technology, mechanism and materials in evaluating the feasibility of production.
