POSITION: Fashion Fabric Sourcer

BACKGROUND: Trading Textile (80% menswear, 20% womenswear)

LOCALISATION: Shanghai (Jade Temple) 

TYPE OF PROFILE: Speaking perfectly English

MISSION: in charge of the sourcing fabrics, trims and accessories in China and managing the prototypes making according to the customers’ needs. 

1- Sourcing (in cooperation with senior merchandisers supervised by the GM).

？ To improve the fabrics/trims MADE IN collections

？ To improve data base of the suppliers by finding new suppliers and by selecting new fabrics physically with swatchs and our data base (in excel)

2- Management prototypes

？ To determinate the fabrics according to original samples, swatchs, or just technical files, and matching with targets prices.

？ To determinate all trims according to originals samples, swatchs or just technical files, and matching with targets prices

？ To gather all the fabrics/trims to make the basic samples, prototypes, SMS, collectioning samples…

？ To launch all the orders with fabric and trims supplier 

3- Creation of collections

？ In collaboration with the General Manager each 2 weeks, you will have to provide new trends, new ideas, new proposals to our different clients: rotating by family product: suits / outters-parkas-coats / pants / shirts… for Men and for women

？ You will have to visit regularly show rooms of existing partners fabric mills and new ones to develop and enlarge our data base

Work in collaboration with senior merchandisers, Purchasing Manager and General Manager.
