Reporting to: Merchandiser, SR Merchandiser or Business Manager

  

Assignment & Expectations

  

 

    

Assistant Merchandiser is responsible for the everyday operations in the merchandiser team. Support the SMR/MR in delivering commercial products according to set price and quality targets, and contributes actively to achieve company goals.  She/He shares and promotes Stockmann Group values. 

   

  

  

 

    

Assignments & Expectations

  

• Follow up the order process by using order follow up form, use deadlines as a help to keep track of order status, make sure TOD is on time from order booking to shipment.

• Work actively with approvals and samples together with SMR/MR and relevant teams.

• Work actively with risk assessment and communicate with supplier and assistant buyer in BOs.

• Be proactive and take more initiatives & solve problems together with SMR/MR and share them with the rest of the teams.

• Sense about upcharge or decrease cost due to changes on styling and making of the GMT

• Be the SMR/MR’s right hand and eyes.

• Keep a customer focus.

• Develop the role and its tools.

                    

   

   

   

  Characteristics and Qualifications:  

                          

• Education: Bachelor degree, major in textile Engineer or economics is preferred

• Working experiences:  Experience of Textile/garment production and suppliers

• Language skills:  English in speech and writing.

• Computer skills:  good knowledge.

• Good communication skills.

    

     

  Performance measures:   

                

• Delivery precision.

• Amount of approvals.

• General performance and development of merchandising team.

• Service level.

• Ability to live and act according to Stockmann Group values.
