Responsibilities

1. Analyze components demand and release purchase orders and forecast to suppliers according to production schedules.
2. Be responsible to have the Right Part at the Right Place at the Right Time.
3. Contact suppliers to resolve delivery or invoice issues
4. Provide analysis on safety stock levels, minimum order quantities, material lead times on a regular basis to identify continuous improvement opportunities including but not limited to inventory management.
5. Prepare reports and updates on suppliers’ delivery performance
6. Support and communicate with other relevant departments on material supply problems
7. Maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications.
8. Other tasks assigned by Material planning supervisor.

Experience/ Education

1.       More than 5 years production/material planning working experience preferably within an automotive or manufacturing environment;

2.       Experience of working closely with suppliers

Skills

1.       Analytical, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem solving abilities;

2.       Strong sense of work responsibility and proactive work attitude to the team;

3.       Good communication skills

4.       Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations

5.       Hands on experience of an ERP system;

6.       Fluent oral & written English.

7.       Familiar with Google suites would be beneficial;
