Duties / Responsibilities: (List the essential functions of the job)

·         Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the policies, programs, and procedures within the Environmental, Safety and Health Management System. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety requirements established by regulatory requirements, and as applicable to the contract and sub-contractor provisions.

·         Manage Environmental, Safety and Health Permit applications pertaining to equipment, process, chemical ingredients and/or activities.

·         Lead continuous improvement efforts in company environmental, health and safety efforts.

·         Monitor, interpret and identify applicable environmental laws and workplace safety/health regulations that apply L & L operations.

·         Manage/Oversee company environmental Aspects. Advise on waste disposal, waste minimization, recycling, pollution prevention practices and industrial hygiene issues.

·         Maintain compliance to ISO14001 environmental standard and continuously improvement

·         Maintain compliance to ISO45001 occupational health and safety standard and continuously improvement

·         Assist with the identification, ranking and selection of environmental Aspects to operations as well as the determination of Objectives, Targets and Projects.

·         Coordinate and administer regular EHS internal audits.

·         Prepare and submit all regulatory compliance reports. These include but are not limited to the Toxic Inventory, Hazardous Waste reports, Energy spending reports, air quality monitoring and ground water monitoring.

·         Ensure that external environmental communication with interested parties, i.e., suppliers, customers, outside agencies, etc., is properly handled and documented.

·         Coordinate production, engineer, logistic team to ensure that environmental performance, environmental communication and environmental training are properly evaluated on a regular basis and, if necessary, improved upon.

·         Monitor programs pertaining to contractor control, capital project review, new formula review, and HAZOP.

·         Lead in the creation and implementation of new waste management procedures.

·         Participate in company safety committee activities and lead in the development of safety programs and systems.

·         Coordinate emergency response activities. (fire, tornado, spill drills)

·         Manage regulated Industrial Hygiene programs. (noise, air particulate, respirator)

·         Manage regulated equipment safety requirements. (hi-lo, crane, press, rotary)

·         Coordinate Safe Work Procedures on pant floor. (LOTO, Machine Instructions, Safety Checks)

·         Participate in Capital Launch Process where EHS milestone responsibilities are required.

·         Any other duties assigned by superior.

 

Job Requirements:

1.      Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering

2.      Minimum 5 years of working experience in the discipline of chemical operation, EHS or technical engineering in a multinational company.

3.      Preferred 2 years working experience of process safety management.

4.      Strong ability to drive the follow up and improvement.

5.      Good PC skills

6.      Good English communication skill both in written and oral

7.      Good knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and directives

8.      Good analytical, leadership and organizational skills

9.      Able to work independent and work under pressure

10.   Good coaching and motivating skill

11.   Strong communication and interpersonal skills
