Job Description:
Define, propose & lead the supplier quality processes: supplier development and qualification, supplier quality approval (APQP/PPAP) for program launch and supplier quality performance Improvement (problem solving and short term improvement actions, as per escalation process).1. Financial: Support new business growth opportunities to achieve LRP growth targets.
- Ensure PPAP on time to customer APQP Deliverable timing.
2. Strategy: Define the plan and priorities for the new Quality organization in line with the E-Systems strategy.
- Work with global supplier quality organization to ensure right support is provided with shortest possible lead-time
- Support purchasing strategy with optimized resources
3. Product: Shift from reactive and customer-driven product and process development to proactive and product roadmap-driven Quality Operating Systems.
- Shift focus from PPAP coordination to Supplier Development and Management with the Global Purchasing Organization. Measured by supplier scorecards, disruptions to Lear and Customer Manufacturing goals due to supplier concerns, and reduction of aftermarket concerns and cost in Asia.
- Establish clear plans upfront with program teams for new technology, or supplier locations to effectively launch new product and program deliverables.
4. Customer: Become a trusted, simple to work with, and responsible partner.
- Within the scope of supplier quality function, support Asia Customer Management Teams that are knowledgeable and responsive to Customer Requirements, Systems, and Scorecards to achieve “green” status globally
5. Operational Excellence: Exceed Lear historic performance and industry-leading quality metrics to achieve superior operational performance. o Achieve 100% on-time PPAP submission rate for supplier deliverables whenever it is possible. o Work with operation and cross-functional team to roll out homologation database in Asia
6. Talent: Build a deep bench of talent that delivers on our quality objectives.
- Manage quarterly Talking Points review
7. Team: Build strong relationships with other members of senior leadership and the Quality team to achieve E-Systems overall objectives.
Utilize good judgment to stand up for the needs of Quality, while bringing a One Lear mindset and supporting the objectives of E-Systems more broadly.

Qualification:
- Quality professional with a minimum of 8 years` relevant work experience in automotive industry, including 5+ years of executing and leading quality assurance processes in growing organizations, in special in supplier quality functions.
- Bachelor / Master Degree in engineering
- IATF16949, 8D, AIAG Core Tools, good understanding of die cast, stamping, injection molding, plating manufacturing and machining process or familar with PCB
- 3+ years` work experience with die casting parts
- 3+ years` work experience with stamped and plastic injected parts
- Strong written and oral communication skills required – English and Chinese
- Ready to travel 30-60% of the time
- Ability to work under stress
