JOB TITLE

  

Accounting Sr. Supervisor

  

  

JOB SUMMARY

  

Reporting directly to the Controller and dotted line repair station manager, the Accounting Supervisor will lead the B/E Aerospace Shanghai accounting team to ensure timely and accurately closing & reporting, support management for effective data analysis & decision making, facilitate smooth system implementation and compliance with local GAAP & UTC/Collins policies & procedures.

  

  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  

• Monitor and maintain the company’s internal control system to ensure statutory and SOX compliance.

  

• Take charge of month end closing process and ensure timely & accurate reporting.

• Provide timely submission of deliverable and financial packages as required.

• Review and approve journals entries, accounts reconciliations, and follow-up with necessary actions.

• Lead the cost & margin analysis, standard cost review & update on a periodic & adhoc basis.

• Oversee fixed asset and working capital management (inventory, Accounts payable and receivable) .

• Provide decision support by analyzing information to identify trends and make recommendations to business management, Contribute to improvement initiatives

• Support to other departments related to finance information, such as assist with pricing proposals, develop cost estimates for labor and parts rework.

• Assists in the development and installation of Epicor system, ensures integrity and accuracy of general ledger and cost accounting data.

                

  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-Year College or university with at least five years related experience

  

• Conversant with Microsoft Excel.

• Have supervisor experience in Finance/Accounting.

• Ability to work in a fast pace environment with multiple priorities while maintaining quality.

  PRFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

          

• HFM, ERP experience (Epicor will be added advantage)

• English level (CET 6 or above) if the candidate is Chinese.

• English Communicate daily operation and read basic Chinese if the candidate is English Speaker.

• US GAAP and SOX knowledge
