PURPOSE:

The Technical Marketing Manager is responsible for lead/drive actives technological solution for business growth including identifying & assessing new market opportunities, working with sales and Marketing Development Manager (MDM) team to develop Lubrizol solutions to meet market unmet needs, analyzing & summarizing market dynamic to ensure business growth in existing and new area. Support regional/global allocate resources and invest to key projects and focus segments. Prioritize new projects and deliver value to customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Collaborate with MDM, Sales, and Global Marketing teams to identify, implement and manage of application technology of the current and future product portfolio and generate sales enablement tools.

Develop and deliver technical sales trainings to internal and external audiences.

Collaborate with Marketing Communications to deliver effective marketing communications via trade press articles, white papers and webinars.

Work with the sales and marketing teams to analyze competitor product information, oversee and coordinate competitor product testing.

Dig out market unmet needs by market analysis & intelligence with sales and MDM. Assess market opportunities and build up new market development projects pipeline.

Technical management PPMP projects in cooperation with internal sales, colleagues from global technical centers and with external customers to ensure proper product positioning and commercialization.

Support global marketing team on regional market information collection & analysis.

Support new product introductions including formulation development, identification of new applications, product positioning and creation of technical literature.

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

Master’s degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering.

Long term experience in a product development function and/or in technical customer support within the coating industry.

Proven ability to prioritize and concurrently manage multiple projects as well as to work in an environment of cross-functional teams.

Several years of experience in building sustainable customer and business relationships.

Strong customer orientation and high problem-solving skills.

High creativity, independence and technical affinity.

Outspoken team player, strong social and intercultural skills.

Excellent communication skills in English- written, verbal, presentation.

Travel requirements: 25-40%.
