Position Summary
This position will report to head of supply service and Associate Director, FP&A and supervise all-rounded projects for NYUSH Finance department as well as a key person focus on strategical process enhancement of supply service, planning and financial analysis and its routine operational works. Project base work including new project initiations, projects follow ups, projects programming, etc. and other range includes report making, data analysis, comprehensive training, etc. In this role, this person will take the lead in overall project management and communication management. Strong demonstrated planning skills, with very specific attention to details. In addition to overseeing above assignments of NYU Shanghai, procurement, asset and budget management basic works are also one of the essential requirement of this job if needed.
The main responsibilities include:
- Accomplish the project objectives according to university requirements.
- Timely check and remediate all project management issues.
- Responsible for communicating with project owners, stockholders, clients to implement projects.
- Strictly concerning with managing the project plan in terms of resources, schedule and cost.
- Conduct user reviews and assist in the running of stakeholder meetings.
- Analyze As-Is and To-Be processes to define system/technology/business requirements.
- Analyze and Optimize internal process with latest digital technology.
- Assist with proposal developments
- Create well-articulated and specific functional documentation.
- Launch training / orientation sessions to departmental associates for building up awareness of assets maintenance and custodian’s responsibilities, within each individual functions, as well as collaboration with supply service team in providing feedback / crisis report.
- Improve NYUSH supply service policies and streamline processes.
- Provide weekly verbal or written reports on the status of current and planned activities including events, project details and feedback, market intelligence, and any other relevant information.
- Develop and maintain relations with internal clients. Manage & analysis the complaint, return & inspection data.
- Procurement and asset management work for per necessary.
- Assist for the continued development of Budgeting, long-term financial planning, and financial forecast;
- Perform budget check and prepare budget amendments to achieve budget control on each program, grant, and cost center;
- Generate and administrate regular management reports and interpret financial information to monitor/evaluate the university’s financial performance on a timely basis;
- Assist in developing financial models for business cases to support management in making decisions;
- Prepare ad hoc financial planning and analysis.

Qualifications
Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Analytics/Consulting/Procurement/Finance /Computer Science/ Information Systems or a related field is preferred.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years' working experience in supply chain/assets management or financial analysis area. Above 2 years of management experience;
- Good at the computer, strong skills with PCs, Windows operating system, and Microsoft Office Suite. Data Visualization experience is preferred.
- Logical thinking, extensive analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a complex environment and manage multiple activities/projects.
- Experience with managing large volumes of data, and attention to accuracy and details.
- Multinational firm / top 500 corporation experiences preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Good in English, both written and conversational.
- Good writing skills in both English and Chinese.
- Proficient in project management and excellent PPT skills.
- Always services-oriented mindset to all internal clients.
- Excellent people skills and cooperation mindset.
- Self-motivated and detail awareness.
- Effective organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Travel is required.
