Job description:

               Key Tasks / Responsibilities

·       Empty Container flow in China

 o   Managing special equipment including diesel/electric reefer, flexi tanks, liner bags

 o   Communicating with Chinese depots, checking Chinese container stocks, 

 o   managing its inventory on daily/weekly basis 

 o   Providing customers and colleagues with appropriate information to pick-up and drop-off of containers 

 o   Checking client’s empty container returns, Entering empty return dates in internal tracing & notification system, following up DETENTIONS & damages, follow up damages for confirmation to FELB E, returning long-term on-hired empty containers from old contracts 

 o   communicating and organizing empty container repositions 

 o   Order/Invoice for repositioning vendors, price/terms etc. 

 ·       Sourcing of empty container-related suppliers (depot services, empty reposition services)

 ·       Checking incoming invoices and following up With Finance EU                     

 ·       Research & Development Intermodal to gain container services cost reduction 

 o   sub-renting of equipment

 ·       Full Inventory support and 30% business trip out of the workload

Requirements

    

·        Bachelor degree or above, in Forwarding or Transportation, Logistics, Foreign Trade or related major

    

·        Between 1-5 years working experience on container management with international carrier especially rail operator as well as shipping line, international freight forwarder or logistics company; 1-belt-1-road rail-freight as well as intermodal transportation industry is a plus

    

·        Highly motivated and proactive, with good communication skills

    

·        With good knowledge and overview for Sino-Euro market, rail-freight is a plus

    

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and 30% business trip out of the workload

    

·        Bilingual or trilingual, out of Chinese, English, Russian as well as German.

As a member of RZDL group FELB is specialized in transporting containers from the Far East (China, South Korea and Japan) to Russia/Europe and vice versa using the Trans-Siberian railway connection. Our clients can gain significant financial advantages from the short transit time of 12–22 days. 70% of all cargo crossing the Chinese–Russian border via Manzhouli and Zabaykalsk is transported under management from FELB.
FELB is so far the only company running China Europe transit train in daily basis, and the only one running both east bound and west train in a balanced volume.
