SENIOR
ELECTRONICS ENGINEER---DSP/Microprocessor based Hardware Design

This role
is located in Shanghai, developing the control board for UPS Arial;mso-ansi-language:EN-GB">product. Including Embedded system hardware,
communication modules, basic HMI interface, A/D or D/A interface modules…etc. Under
project team, responsible for defining and specifying the hardware
architectures, designing electronic circuit, verifying/debugging the functions
to meet the functional and certification requirements.

l   Design the UPS product for China and global market. Transfer and
understand marketing requirements.

l   Responsible for the control part hardware design such as:
DSP/microprocessor based, involving both digital and analog controls, and power
conversion.

l   Responsible for digital control, circuit design, component research,
selection and specification, troubleshooting and corrective action, and design
verification testing.

l   Deeply working with Project Design Leader and Firmware to define the
control hardware architecture, such as CPU selection, I/O assignment,
communication BUS…etc

l   Coordinate with other manufacturing functions, such as purchasing, cost,
ADM…etc.

l
Develop innovative and cost-effective solutions for new products.

l   Create Schematic, Bom, design specification…etc, guide PCB engineer for
layout.

l   Deeply involved into the Verification/Validation Test to verify the design
to meet all functionality, reliability, quality and related certification
requirements.

l   Follow Schneider internal process and quality strategy.

Skills and Qualifications

l   Master degree of 5+ years or Bachelor degree of 7+ years’ experience in
electronics/embedded hardware designWingdings">èRequired. With the experience of control
board development for power electronics products (UPS, motor drives,  solar inverters, PCS,etc.)è highly preferred.

l   Strong Experience in design of embedded hardware systems (μP, DSP, FPGA,
CPLD, Memories, etc.)èRequired. Experience of the firmware programmingèPreferred.

l   Strong Experience and familiar with different digital processor selection
and related IO configuration, including MCU, DSP, CPLDèRequired

l   Strong Experience in design of different communication physical hardware
circuit and related protocol (Modbus, RS232/422/485, Ethernet, CAN, SPI…etc)èRequired.

l   Strong Experience in analog circuits design (input/output…etc) èRequired

l   Strong Experience in digital logic circuits, such as DI/DO, digital
interfaceèRequired. High speed digital circuit signal integrity analysisèPreferred.

l   Experience in designing DC-DC Power Supplies for CPU and its peripheral
circuitèRequired

l   Strong experience of Sensors and signal conditioning (grounding schemes,
filters, A/D…). Current/Voltage measurement methodsèRequired.

l   Proficiency in different design Tools, Cadence HDL/Capture PspiceèRequired. Matlab/Simulink and/or Hardware-In-the-Loop simulation systems
èHighly preferred

l   Strong Experience in EMC design principles, EMC design and testing
including preventative approachesWingdings">èRequired

l   Ability to troubleshoot electronic designs and perform functional
verification & validation at product and system levelèRequired

l   Knowledge of UPS Control System (Software&System, Controllers, IOs,
Fieldbuses) èHighly preferred

l   Familiar with related standard, IEC660947, UL/TUV/EN , Safety (EPO)èHighly preferred

l   Self-motivated and working under periodic high pressureèRequired.

l   Strong personal/team execution capabilityèRequired.

l   Good oral and writing English skills, able to communicate with internal
and foreign engineers through email or phone meetingèRequired.

Qualifications:

1. ·        Require Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation Control, Computer engineering, or similar field plus 3~5+ years of related experience.
2. ·        Solid programming experience in C & C++ (over >=3+ years’ experience).
3. ·        Solid programming experience on industrial products (over 2+ years’ experience), better in power electronics.
4. ·        Strong documentation and writing skills, strong communication skill as a team player.
5. ·        Strong knowledge on various communication protocols (e.g. MODBUS/CAN/TCP/UDP)
6. ·        Good experience on unit test (gtest or cppunit) and python programming.
7. ·        Good knowledge on software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review.
8. ·        Excellent software troubleshooting experience and hardware debug skills.
9. ·        Knowledge on the power electronics or automation control.
