Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide active independent support to New Product Introduction (NPI) teams ensuring all packaging related milestones are completed on time.
2. Ensure all packaging testing and qualification projects meet a high level of scientific integrity.
3. In depth knowledge of package technologies, materials and testing related to the development of new packaging components.
4. Capable of leading and/or supervising packaging projects related to maintenance and/or troubleshooting support to adjacent supply chain functions (procurement, manufacturing, etc.), as well as, to end-users in the marketplace.
5. In-depth knowledge and understanding of our industry and regulations impacting products and capable to identify and deliver new opportunities to overcome related challenges.
6. Can independently identify and create awareness of cost savings and efficiency opportunities.
7. Can work independently with all functions (i.e. procurement, commercial, manufacturing, regulatory, logistics, etc.) to deliver goals on key projects or initiatives.
8. Will mentor, train and/or assist new engineers on projects, policies and processes.
9. Capable of identifying and delivering new technologies and innovations.
10. Support appropriate maintenance of data systems and structures (MDM, SAP, range management systems, etc.), creating/reviewing packaging specifications and assembly instructions when needed and assist other engineers in doing so.

Job Requirements:      

1. B.S. in Packaging or correlated areas. (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.)
2. Proficient speaking skills according to local language needs.
3. Advanced English level (C1 or equivalent).
