Our Exciting Opportunity

We are now looking for an Electrical automation engineer to develop, implement and maintain cost efficient, ergonomic and safe production, claims and repair processes with automatic equipment and tools according to production rules.

You will

• Mainly be responsible for the design of electrical parts of automatic equipment used in Ericsson Nanjing factory, and supporting electronic design review of outsourced equipment.
• Research/pre-develop new electrical/SW automation solution according to business/platform requirement.
• Set up an electric/SW platform to support Ericsson automation business.
• Study sensor and algorithm.
• Design electric and PLC/Robot/Vision SW for automation equipment.
• Improve the automation equipment to support volume production.
• Document the design and deployment spec according to project requirements.

To be successful in the role you must have

• Bachelor degree in electronic engineering/mechatronics or equivalent.
• More than 4 years in the Manufacturing Automation area.
• Experience of the component selection of the automatic system, such as: power supply, relay, signal cable, sensor, etc.
• Rich experience from PLC/ROBOT/Vision programming.
• Capability of making a schematic and wiring diagram of automatic equipment based on the specification of components.
• Knowledge of electronic safety laws and design requirements.
• knowledge of industrial communication bus, and the experience of PROFINET.
• Ability to establish and verifying earlier requirements of the automation project.
• Knowledge of PLC programming, the experience of using SIEMENS 300 / 400 / 1200 / 1500 is a plus.
• Knowledge of HMI programming, the experience of using SIEMENS WinCC is a plus.
• Skills in sensor algorithms is a plus.
• Good English in Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.
