Emergo is a Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance consulting company, solely supporting medical device and in-vitro-diagnostic (IVD) manufacturers.
JOB FUNCTION:
The Product/Service Specialist is responsible for regional ownership of defined service lines that includes meeting budgets, market development activities and training of staff and customers. Supporting Account Executives and Sales Executives in prospecting, negotiating and closing orders on opportunities. In depth understanding of UL service portfolio and value proposition.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Building and managing influential relationships with existing and potential clients
- Providing information and relevant proposals to clients for inquiries regarding new markets of interest
- Having a consultative mindset while working with clients to identify needs and new opportunities for growth
- Reaching out to current clients to provide information regarding potential services and new markets that might be of interest
- Utilizing CRM to identify, develop, and close sales opportunities with creating proposals and agreements to targeted clients
- Helping achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for territory
- Making Emergo the first choice for international market entry assistance among medical device manufacturers in the territory
- Working closely with sales management and corporate staff to ensure coordination and cooperation in support of sales efforts.
- Developing and implementing strategic cross-selling approach with client base within a specified GC region
- Helping to implement a business plan to meet or exceed corporate objectives and sales goals in assigned geography
- Provide feedback to business development teams on required support materials and new service development
- Drive account penetration strategies, and new customer identification strategies in assigned client accounts
- Providing management outlook and forecast
- Maintaining up to date knowledge regarding global regulatory frameworks and their application to Emergo’s services and internal processes
- Demonstrating the ability to clearly and concisely address prospective client inquiries regarding Emergo’s services
- Develop and maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of Emergo services and international regulatory systems/requirements
- Coaches and mentors lower level staff on effective direct sales skills and sales processes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM COMPETENCY AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION:
- University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree) is preferred plus generally five years of related sales or consultative selling experience.
- Background with medical related industry or regulatory affair is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely in both Chinese and English
- General knowledge of sales process
- Demonstrated ability to execute projects to achieve stated objectives
- Has a general understanding of company's products and services
- Significant business travel and work outside of the office required.
