Responsibility:

• Audit Assurance Work: Provide a professional internal audit service to stakeholders through: the assessment of risk and evaluation of internal controls; and setting of audit opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of the control environment in DBS Bank (China) Ltd.
• Consultative Work: Promote the continuous improvement of risk management, control processes and corporate governance across DBS Bank (China) Ltd.
• Undertake audit engagements as assigned by SVP of the team according to audit plan.
• Advise and apprise promptly the SVP of the team of all major risk, control and regulatory issues arising during the audit.
• Execute the audits in accordance with departmental and professional standards.
• Update and maintain audit risk matrices, including audit work papers for each audit engagement.
• Test and follow up all outstanding audit issues for proper implementation during each audit engagement.
• Maintain key relationships with middle level management and stakeholders, understand and keep abreast of the major initiatives of the assigned business portfolios, raise potential risk and control issues to audit management.
• Keep abreast of own professional development to enhance one’s skills and competence.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master degree holder in IT relevant field;
• Relevant professional or post-graduate qualifications (e.g. CPA, CIA, CISA) would be considered desirable;
• At least 7 years' working experience of external / internal IT audit or risk / control consultancy in banking industry;
• Solid understanding of IT infra, cyber security and IT application controls in banks;
• Familiarity with SQL, MS Access, Excel, PowerBI and Java, and experience in data analysis would be a plus;
• Strong logic thinking, self-disciplined, proactive and quick learner.
