Bella Napoli was born in 2006 in Shanghai, which brings an authentic slice of Italy to Shanghai. Bella Napoli’s two branches are located on Change road and Nanhui road of Jing’an district, Shanghai. Next to the Southern Italian favorites, we offer authentic and light Neapolitan style pizza, made in a wood-fired oven built from specially handcrafted bricks from Sorrento.

Job description of Italian chef:

1. Report to the general manager
2. Able to create new dishes and new promotions
3. Able to make menus all the times
4. Able to make the recipe cost
5. Able to communicate with the suppliers
6. Able to do meetings , trainings and briefings
7. Responsible to keep the cost low accordingly the budget
8. Responsible to maintain the food with labels all the times
9. Responsible to maintain the food quality all the times
10. Comply with establish sanitation standards, personal hygiene and health standards
11. Observe proper food preparation and handling technique
12. Report necessary equipment repair and maintenance to supervisor
13. Ensure the kitchen sanitation all the times
14. Clean and maintain equipment and area used in food preparation
15. Responsible to purchase all goods
16. Always to compare the prices with other suppliers
17. Able to prepare different menu , buffet and special events
18. Able to communicate with the local staff
19. Need a person is willing to teach and repeat all the times
20. Need a person is willing to develop the staff
21. Able to follow our Bella Napoli’s standard all the times
22. To Familiarize with all the costumers
23. To assist all catering’s service and event’s organization
24. Be willing to learn all the times
25. Able to listen feedback and to improve all the times

Requirements:

1. Holding the Chinese working visa and currently living in China
2. Age preferable from 30-50 years old
3. Italian and English speaking and writing
4. Italian nationality
5. Need a person open mind, socialize with our Chinese and international clientele
6. Knowledge of Italian regional food
7. Able to use the computer with world, excel
8. Flexibility is a MUST!

Working hours and Salary:

1. Salary to be discussed , it depends on work experience
2. 21 working days of holiday per year
3. Bonus at the end of the year accordingly to the performance and the action plan
4. Preferable candidates currently staying in China, final interview and probation period in Shanghai are required.
