Position: Accountant

    

    

Work Activities

    

    Document financial transactions by entering account information

    

    Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports

    

    Secure financial information by completing database backups

    

    Verify, allocate, accrue expenses, post and reconcile transactions

    

    VAT invoice issuing and other tax related task

    

    Analyze financial information and summarize financial status

    

    Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures

    

    Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process

    

    Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance

    

    Support month-end and year-end close process

    

    Communicate effectively with clients, Banks and other internal stakeholders

    

    Communicate with Manager and/or Director on work status and client issues that arise.

    

    Prepare intercompany invoices, transactions, and reconciliations on a monthly basis

    

    Support PO and A/C payable processes

    

    Cash flow and petty cash recordings

    

    Responsible for monthly tax preparation and filing with local authorities

    

Qualifications for recruitment

    

Required qualifications:

    

    University education in accounting, finance or business

    

    Financial or Accounting certification

    

     Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience in trading industry

    

Nice to haves:

    

     Experience in Oil & Gas Trade

    

    Accountancy qualification (CPA, CICPA, ACA or any other equivalent certification)

    

    Experience and knowledge in letter of credit and trade finance such as discounting LC, finance, etc.
