JOB TITLE:                 Expert-Vehicle Architecture

LOCATION:          Shanghai, China and Hanoi/Haiphong, Vietnam 

 

Objectives of the Job:

• With the request of manager or group leader, to execute & fulfill vehicle architecture responsibility independently.

• Vehicle Architecture of new products (from the PV phase) including packaging, technical synthesis and legal compliance of the technological solutions to ensure that the resultant design can be economically produced meeting platform/programme cycle plan objectives

• Ensure on time delivery of project deliverables with high quality and customer satisfaction.

 

Main Duties:

 

• Technical ownership of focused vehicle architecture activities including conceptual layout, geometrical integration and styling integration within a project.

• Develop vehicle architecture strategy and layout solutions from concept phase to serial product.

• Manage the timing, quality and release of CAD data required to support Project design direction.

• Support Release Engineers in all aspects of package and design

• Able to develop skills and competencies (and associated training) within the VA function to deliver short, medium and long term goals

• Lead and drive technical solution related to vehicle architecture.

• Steer modules & teams for issues resolutions of project.

• Be responsible for vehicle architecture team in coordination with modules & teams.

• Ensure engineering design compatibility with master package layouts.

• Support vehicle architecture new technology collection and team capability improvement.

   

Qualification:

• Bachelor Degree or above in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering or related major.

• More than 10 years working experience in vehicle architecture, EV package experience is a plus.

• Good knowledge across engineering groups and integration functions.

• Good planning, communication and coordination skills.

• Good experience of using 3D CAD systems such as Catia V5 and Unigraphics.

• Honest, self-motivated, independent, performance driven, innovative.

• Fluent in English both oral and written.
