JOB FUNCTIONS & PURPOSE:
1. To collect and evaluate the new DCS requirements from customer;
2. To develop and define new DCS Subsystems requirements;
3. To perform R&D for new DCS subsystem;
4. To perform analysis, design, modeling and simulation to specify and verify DCS system of train control systems developed;
5. To analyze and evaluate new DCS system performance;
6. To deliver the detail design of new DCS subsystem on schedule;
7. To deliver DCS Hardware drawing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Collect the Customer new DCS requirements and performing feasibility analyses
2. Converts the Customer new DCS requirements into conceptual designs.
3. Prepares new DCS subsystem requirement specifications, interface requirements and test requirement documents by analyzing, decomposing modeling and refining customer requirements and typical train control domain requirements.
4. Prepares and supports preparation of R&D proposals based on knowledge of DCS technology, customer requirements and backed by analysis, simulation and trade-off of key design driving requirements.
5. Performs simulations to identify new DCS design feasibility & driving requirements.
6. Performs the testing and performance analysis to further optimize the new DCS design.
7. Deploy the DCS design correctly in the project.
8. Deliver DCS Hardware drawing as per the customer requirement
