JOB FUNCTIONS & PURPOSE：
To be responsible for the software requirement analysis, design, and coding firmware for the software development part of the CBTC system.
To be responsible for FAT(Factory acceptance testing) software, as well as support manufacturing for FAT software issues.
To ensure all safety related requirements are analyzed, designed, implemented and tested formally.
To perform in-house and field testing and test support as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES：
1. Develop, design and test embedded firmware in a real-time operation system environments for CBTC system relevant signal processing, interface and controller circuit boards.
2. Analyze, Design, and V&V for FAT(Factory acceptance testing) software, as well as support manufacturing for FAT software issues.
3. Documents designs, procedures and programs including elements of change control and configuration management.
4. Update, re-design or optimize the existing products, and solve the EOL issues.
5. Contribute to concept architecture building, technical risks identification and mitigation by calculation, modeling analysis, simulation or prototype verification.
6. Responsible for the quality, cost and delivery of the board firmware design.
7. Communicate with other function engineers to co-develop system as project needs.
8. Improve process and standard work for the CBTC hardware and firmware design.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT:
1. Proficient MCU\ARM\DSP Driver programming Knowledge of vital/safety critical software development processes,Knowledge on CENELEC is a plus
2. Proficient C programming language skills/experiences (5 yrs+) in real time operating system environment
3. Knowledge of software engineering practice including development life-cycle, change control and configuration management ect.
4. Knowledge of vital/safety critical software development processes,Knowledge on CENELEC is a plus
5. Knowledge of modern software development methodology, tools and software specification.
6. Knowledge of software automation test
7. Proficient C programming language skills/experiences (5 yrs+) in real time operating system environment
8. Experience in Factory acceptance testing software development and manufacturing support
9. Experience in large distributed system development
10. Familiar with Agile software development process
11. Familiar with interface RS232/RS422/RS485/CAN bus/MVB transceivers, and other industrial fieldbus communication, as well as sensor signals processing,
12. Experience in a popular scripting language, i.e. Python or Ruby.
13. Good technical English language reading/writing/communicating skills.
14. B.Sc. Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
