Responsibility:

• Source and develop new products and vendors;
• Drive for continual improvement and innovation across our sourcing activities;
• Work with sourcing manager, product team and Quality team to develop sourcing strategy across multiple categories;
• Assess suppliers and factories capacity and capability to meet retail market requirements
• Collect relevant data to formulate sourcing proposal;
• Execute buying trip including pre-trip, itinerary set up, cost negotiation to finalization to ensure the trip objectives are fully achieved
• Ensure all supplier quotations and samples are completed on a timely basis for appropriate decision making to meet objectives;
• Manage order execution and resolve product and production issues on a timely and proactive manner;
• Work with the quality team and planning team to ensure placements are made with right factories. Identify testing and production issues upfront and involve Quality Assurance teams to resolve;
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure it meets or exceeds company KPI;
• Prepare Monthly Reports to keep sourcing manager well informed of status of all upcoming programs;
• Coordinate with replenishment team in daily operations;
• Assume additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed;
• Price negotiation and monitoring, execute bidding process, develops and implements sourcing strategies for key spend categories;
• Manage and maintain excellent business relationship with suppliers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or above;
• +3 years working experience in sourcing;
• Experience in household goods, home textile, kitchen, pet supplies and children’s products is preferred;
• Experience with project management;
• Strong communication skills (in both Mandarin Chinese & English) - verbal, written and executive presentations;
• Working experience with OEMs is a must;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
• Periods travel is required (up to 30%);
• Good listener and a true team player;
• Work with passion, self-motivation is needed.
