Responsibilities:

·       Maintain cost model / cost in system

·       Perform month-end inventory close processes and provide analysis

·       Support external / internal audit

·       Support system and process improvement

·       Provide cost information to other department for management purpose

·       Partner with Operations team to continuously improve margins

·       Estimate product cost for management decision

Tasks:

·       Maintain cost for new item and BoM in cost model / system

·       Variance analysis for actual and standard cost, PPV and PRDV, breakdown facts to analysis

·       Collect touch time, production yield and update in cost model

·       Test and analysis cost in cost model

·       Prepare inventory list and valuation for monthly closing

·       Follow up and monitor instruction on inventory counting procedure

·       Prepare inventory reserve and consolidate to desired format for review

·       Prepare LCM report quarterly

·       Calculate warranty based on company policy

·       Provide unrealized profit in inventory for group consolidation

·       Provide insightful analysis of cost of goods sold

·       Provide evidence to external audit

·       Work with operation team to achieve company cost reduction objective and provide necessary support

·       Provide inventory cycle time / cost to operation for improvement

·       Provide cost information to sales for setup of selling price

·       Provide cost for scrap application

·       Support finance other function (eg. Transfer price, etc.) by provide COGS / inventory related data

·       Work with Operations team to ensure their processes and procedures support good inventory control and accurate costing. Provide analytical support for business decisions.

·       Take part in implementation and follow-up of process / system change and test

·       Assist supervisor to collaborate on departmental and cross-functional teams to complete system implementations, process improvements, automation and streamlining efforts.

·       Support on developing/documenting cost accounting policy and internal controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• at least 3 years of experience of cost in manufacturing industry.
• Familiar with standard cost, experience with new ERP implementation is preferred
• Self-starter with initiative and solid time management skills
• Strong working knowledge of cost accounting and analysis.
• Good understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and ability to apply the principles
• Ability to analyze complex issues and present summarized information to management
• High standards for quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Power user of Microsoft Excel and ERP systems. Ability to work with large volumes of data. Microsoft Dynamics AX experience and utilization of data query tools is an advantage.
