JOB DESCRIPTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Consult and collaborate with Lead Designer in all design concepts.

*Take ownership and leadership in all tasks/projects assigned by Lead Designer or Design Director in given timeframe.

* Coach and manage the designers you are working with collectively in developing outstanding design and detailing in every project.

*Develop and maintain team standards.

* Assist Lead Designer in arrangement of mentorship and training in the team.

* Able to lead the team in the absence of Lead Designer

* Be able to articulate yourself well, which can translate verbal ability into design ability.

* Self-motivated and pro-active.

* Strong interpersonal skills to convey design ideas to team, client and vendors.

* Establish clear lines of communications with supportive teams, suppliers and client.

* Assisting Lead designer to pre-arrange resources, have an effective planning prior to project development.

* Confer with client to determine factors affecting planning interior environments, such as budget, architectural preferences, and purpose and function.

*Take criticism well and translate it effectively.

* Maintains involvement and ensures quality control in all phases of interior architectural projects and their management.

* Keep up with current trends when creating new designs.

* Able to complete projects from scratch independently.

*Pay close attention to detail and work effectively/efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

SKILLS

* Possess bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field for at least 5-8 years and with equivalent site experience.

*Possess excellence conceptual and space planning skill.

* Proficiency in sustainable design.

* Knowledge in Design/Architectural softwares, M. Office or Keynote.

* Possess team spirit with strong interpersonal skill

*Possess good FF&E knowledge.

* Familiar with construction costing and budgeting.

* Familiar with Local Building/Construction/Fire Safety Code.

* Basic knowledge in MEP.

* Possess good leadership in working with a team.

* Experience in site technical knowledge.

* Good presentation skill.

* Possess International standard of detailed design capability

* Sketching Ability.

* Bilingual in English and Chinese.
