This position need to  support the QA manager for product/process quality control & improve of Southco Shanghai manufacturing  projects to achieve the goal of KPI for quality department , and lead/coordinate the team  to solve any internal and external customer quality complaints.

Job Accountabilities

1. Develop control plan, incoming  inspection plan and/or  QW inspection WI etc. for the product/process of the manufacturing  projects to assure all of  projects achieve the quality objectives. Support/Lead CI/Kaizen projects to reduce the process PPM or increase PPH, especially do regular review on the CP to ensure the documents  may provide effective indication to the process control.

2. Responsible for new and transfer projects assigned to meet the timeline and submit PPAP package per  customer requests. Setup quality plan for new projects and may develop inspection fixture with project team independently if it is necessary. 

3. Take the leader function in problem solving ,Coordinate and/or lead the development of  the corrective/preventive actions for the quality issues timely , 

4. Assure nonconforming material is quarantined timely and has clear indication to the disposition of the non-conforming material  promptly, maintain QN database and update the actions accordingly. Respond customer claim in fast and effective way and avoid repeated complaint happens.

5. Take mentor function to educate QE/Technician to improve their quality mind set and problem solving        skill.

6. Provide 5tools training to cross functional team member  if it is necessary.

7.  Participate in supplier PPAP review and approval,  provide support in supplier improvement of the  outsourcing components

8. Takes responsibility for/supports  the customer audit especially for project process audit.

Minimum Requirements

1. Internal auditor qualification for IATF16949:2016/ISO9001:2015 (system/product/process)

2. Good knowledge in AIAG 5 manuals

3 familiar with Southco global quality system( procedures, WI and Forms), like IPN/pro-4, ECP/PRN,S-121,gage management etc.

4. Good knowledge and experience in GD&T and drawing reading

5.  Be able to use the general and  gages and PP, Smart Scope etc.,

6. Good knowledge in product/process in molding and assy.

7. Familiar with RoHS/Reach/IMDS requirement
