As a Sub Project Manager for the M2M team located in Dalian, you will contribute to the development of wireless communication modules that will be used in automotive, industrial and other M2M applications globally.

A week in the life of a Software Project Manager:

• You will manage software development project for wireless modules used in M2M communication.
• You will organize requirement evaluation, development effort estimation, plan schedule and resource, monitor status and progress, ensure quality and manage risk to achieve releases on time, according to internal product management standard, and common project management principles.
• You will ensure the team provide practical task breakdown and accurate time estimates, set appropriate work priorities, monitor statistics and make project changes and trade-offs necessary for a successful release.
• You will improve development process, adapt software release process and configuration plan to the project.
• You will associate with internal and external project stakeholders, act as interface of SW team to the larger project team, and the representative to management.
• You will drive collaboration across boundaries, overcomes obstacles by resolving issues, identifies and resolves teamwork issues, reinforce the positive team environment by modeling best practices and behaviors that promotes good morale.
• You will communicate and discuss resource conflict situation, drive alignment and lead to conclusion.
• You will stay up-to-date about M2M technologies, products and markets.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• To succeed at this job, you must have

1. Knowledge and Experience of project management, products (lines) release planning, and maintenance.
2. Experiences and Skills of customer interaction and external partnership co-operation.
3. Familiarity with at least one of the following functions: AT command, TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, MQTT, SSL, TLS, GPS, IPV6, RIL, STK/USAT, SIM, PB, call, SS/USSD, SMS, PDP, Bluetooth;
4. Experience in C, C++ or Java, multitask synchronous programming, memory management, system level performance tuning and troubleshooting;
5. Experience in software quality management process, e.g. design review, code review, unit test design;
6. Experience working on teams and experience using software configuration management and development tools to compile and debug software.

• It would be preferred if you have

1. Experience developing products that use wireless protocols such as LTE, HSPA, WCDMA, GPRS and GSM;
2. Knowledge of wireless 3GPP standards, especially Layer 3, and familiarity with Anritsu, Agilent or R&S 3G/4G network simulators and related equipment.
3. Experience on Internet protocol implementation or maintenance according to RFCs, performance tuning, troubleshooting.
4. Experience on RTOS system components development;
5. Knowledge and Experience on IOT Cloud Service.
6. Familiarity with embedded Linux systems, shell programming and Makefiles;
7. PMP certificate or CMMI level 3~ deployment experiences. 

• You must be fluent in English.
• We would like someone to join our team who is detail oriented, analytical, autonomous, has integrity and goal oriented; open-minded and a good team player.
• You must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Telecommunication, Computer Engineering or a related field.
