Supporting a busy Finance function, working to strict timetables/deadlines under pressure, and reporting in US GAAP.

Principal responsibilities are to support the Group Controller with the preparation of financial reporting and analysis including all aspects of monthly financial statements, reconciliations, monthly management accounts, variance analysis etc.

? Provide advice and guidance to Finance staff where required

? Supporting the preparation of the monthly financial statements including Trial Balance, Income Statement and Balance Sheet 

? Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations (including investigation and resolution of any errors/discrepancies)

? Provide relevant, meaningful financial information to other function managers to assist business decision making

? Monthly reporting including :

             Monthly CIP reconciliation

             Monthly ,Quarterly and YOY GVAT 

             Monthly ICSC report

             Monthly function expense report

             Weekly operational and Cash flash

             GVAT review, Operation review                   

? Collect and combine sites report like weekly flash, ICSC, Question checklist.

? Prepare operation review documents.

? Assistance in the preparation of the annual Standard Costs, ensuring accuracy and are appropriate for decision making

? Assisting in the preparation of forecasts and budgets as required

? Support delivery and preparation of Capex proposals, Including Capex reporting

? Support Maintenance of GL database

? Support in the completion of the annual stat accounts and corporation tax submissions

? Carry out special ad-hoc projects under the direction of the Group Controller

? Other assignments by supervisor

Requirement:

? 5 years working within a finance function

? Solid finance skills gained from working within a manufacturing environment

? Strong SAP skills with a good understanding of Excel and PPT

? Knowledge of US Gaap and Sarbanes Oxley

? Knowledge/Experience of Mfg/Pro or similar integrated accounting package
