Experience of non production purchasing within the automotive industry and responsible for supplier management
Supplier Management, including Commodity Strategy for Building and Facilities, Machinery and Tooling, Freight and Services within the right cost target and quality.
? Plan, formulate and implement purchasing strategies for assigned commodities
? Responsible to collect the procurement requirements from function departs, include but not limited in delivery time,
brand, technology, installation, maintenance and etc.
? Issue RFI-RFP-RFQ (Request for Quotation) Packages to select suppliers and ensure timely response from suppliers
? Initial review of robustness of quote from the suppliers, review and assist in negotiation of best in class service
providers, piece price and related tooling cost
? Lead Market Intelligence in region and provide advice on key areas such as local labour rates, tax exemptions,
government policy, duty rates and automotive regulations – which may affect local cost base
? Support Manufacturing, Logistics, IT, HR and other functions, as and when required in evaluating potential suppliers
and providing an interface between supplier and other functions.
? Presentation of key supplier data to support Purchasing and all other function’s sourcing decisions, such as quality
performance, customer base, delivery performance, level of quality accreditation, technology/process capability and
Design & Development capability.
? Negotiate one-off projects and annual pricing and drive cost reductions to meet objectives in the assigned commodities.
? Assist to optimize the FM&SP Purchasing Process and related Documents.
? Follow FM&SP Purchasing Procedure to implement non-production commodities and procurement task
? Take lead on FM&SP Cost Saving Initiatives

3.Ability to analyse total business case for sourcing, on a total cost basis incl. i.e. Investments, Services and Facilities, as well as risk recognition. Advanced/Essential
4.Strong communication skills, Team player and facilitator, Personnel Management Skills. Advanced/Essential
5.Fluency in English and Mandarin. Advanced/Essential
6.Degree in a Business/Commercial discipline. Advanced/Essential
