The JV Marketing Sales and Service (MS&S) Land Rover Product Senior Manager is responsible for developing the product, pricing, and mix aspects of the LR products to be produced by the JV between Chery and Jaguar Land Rover. This role will be closely associated with the JLR China NSC team, and will operate an “Embedded collaboration” model with them to ensure one JLR voice to the customer and Dealer network as well as back to the JLR Global Brand teams.
Collaborate with the JLR China NSC Land Rover Product team to:
？ Optimize the JV Land Rover product offerings for the market within the flexibility possible to deliver maximum
consumer attractiveness, and consequently both volume and profit.
？ Manage the product requirements into the JV/Land Rover Systems and processes for both existing and future JV
products.
？ Monitor the competitive environment, and manage the response in content and prices of the JV Land Rover
product offering to maintain/enhance competitiveness and maximize revenue opportunities.
？ Monitor and develop the market pricing in accordance with the Land Rover pricing and positioning guidelines.
？ Manage and develop new car/model year launch processes.
？ Direct and support dealers in individual product and product portfolio management.
？ Develop the 'order-guide'/vehicle specification strategies.
？ Develop and manage the option pricing and packaging strategies.
？ Support product researches and surveys (clinics etc.)
？ Develop new market relevant strategies (portfolio, emissions, localisation)
？ Undertake ad hoc studies and projects as appropriate to the general objectives of the department

？ Bachelor degree or above in a product or marketing related topic. Essential
？ Significant experience in automotive product planning. Essential
？ 3 years within a marketing role in an Automotive consumer product orientated environment. Desirable
？ Analytical, systematic and logical thinker with the ability to lead a multifunctional team. Essential
？ Strong interpersonal and influencing skills. Essential
